What You Avoid: This Week's Lens

The message you don't reply to, the conversation you postpone: what you avoid doesn't disappear, it moves to your head. This week's lens is free for everyone.

What you avoid doesn't disappear. It moves to your head. And there it takes up more space than in real life.

The message you don't reply to. The conversation you postpone. The decision you leave for Monday, and Monday for the next Monday. None of those things are gone: you carry them with you all day, in a small and constant version, like an open tab that you don't look at but drains your battery.

And there's something even more uncomfortable: what you avoid often knows more about you than what you do. You avoid precisely where something pinches — a no you fear, an answer you don't want to read, a version of yourself you don't feel like looking at. That's why avoidance is such a good sign: it points directly to what matters.

This week's lens in Tisbo is called What You Avoid. A lens, in Tisbo, is a way to look at yourself: it doesn't tell you what's going to happen or give you advice — it takes what you've already been responding to and returns it to you organized from a specific angle.

Here's how it works: you don't write anything. The lens starts from your patterns and what you've been leaving in the app these days, and it gives you a short reading: what you're skirting, since when, what truly costs you, and a question to close. Five minutes.

When to use it: when you've had an open tab in your head for days. When you notice you're organizing drawers just on the day of that call. When the plan of "next week" hits a month.

It's a Tisbo+ lens, but this week it's free for everyone, until Saturday: https://tisbo.app/open/lens/what_you_avoid

You don't have to start with the difficult stuff. Just by looking at it.
