What You're Not: This Week's Lens

There are versions of you that you've been dragging for years that no longer describe you. They just weigh you down. Here's how this week's lens in Tisbo looks.

Lo que no eres, la lente de la semana en Tisbo

There are versions of you that you've been dragging for years that no longer describe you. They just weigh you down.

Removing instead of adding: that's the focus of this week's lens in Tisbo, What You're Not.

A lens in Tisbo is a way to look at yourself. It doesn't tell you what will happen or give you advice: it takes what you've already been answering and returns it to you organized from a specific angle. This week's lens works in reverse compared to the others. Instead of telling you who you are, it strikes through.

Here's how it works. With what you've confirmed about yourself these days and, above all, with what you've been discarding, it returns three or four identities that clearly aren't yours: the person you thought you had to be, the role that was assigned to you early on and never revisited, the label you repeat without checking it. And it closes with what looks best when you take off those masks. It's short. You don't have to tell it anything: you've already been answering.

When to use it: when you find yourself defending a version of you that you no longer hold. When you say "I am this way" and notice that you haven't checked it in a long time. When you've been trying for weeks to fit into something that no one has asked of you.

This week, you can find it highlighted when you open the app, until Saturday: tisbo.app/open/lens/what_you_are_not

Michelangelo said that the figure was already inside the block and that his job was to remove what was unnecessary. It's the same with you: there's no need to add anything.
